Formed in 2021, 55 South is a modern country band proudly rooted in the heart of South Alabama. Named after Alabama Highway 55, the road that runs through their hometown of Andalusia, the band carries its hometown pride everywhere it goes, bringing authentic country music and Southern hospitality to every stage.
Performing throughout the Southeast, from Montgomery, Alabama, to Apalachicola, Florida, 55 South has earned a reputation for delivering high-energy shows, exceptional musicianship, and a level of professionalism that audiences, venues, and event organizers can count on.

While every member brings decades of musical experience and diverse influences to the stage, the chemistry between them is what truly sets the band apart.
Drawing inspiration from artists like Ashley McBryde, Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton, and Jason Aldean, 55 South blends today’s country hits with timeless favorites, Southern rock, and crowd-pleasing classics. Whether it’s a county fair, festival, concert series, private event, or local venue, the band’s goal is always the same: deliver a show that connects with every audience.
More than anything, 55 South wants to be known for two things—flawless musicianship and genuine character. Off the stage, they’re just down-to-earth people who love making music together. Jeremy Hunt
Drums
Jeremy Hunt has been playing drums since the age of five and brings over 35 years of experience to 55 South. Raised in the church, he developed the steady, song-first style that anchors the band's sound. A native of Andalusia, Alabama, Jeremy has been the driving rhythm behind 55 South for the past five years, delivering solid grooves and a passion for live music. Off stage, he's married to the band's lead singer, making music together both on and off the stage.
Andy Cox
Bass, Guitar & Piano
Andy Cox, a native of Opp, Alabama, has been making music since the age of 10, when he first began playing in church. A talented multi-instrumentalist on guitar, bass, and piano, he joined 55 South in July 2025. His versatility, strong musicianship, and passion for live performance make him an essential part of the band's sound.
Drake Holland
Lead Guitar & Vocals
Originally from Halifax, Virginia, Drake Holland has been playing guitar since he was 11 years old. A U.S. Army veteran, he brings dedication, energy, and exceptional musicianship to every performance. Now based in Crestview, Florida, Drake delivers soaring lead guitar and rich vocals, making him an integral part of the 55 South sound.
Skot Warren
Front of House Engineer
Originally from Opp, Alabama, Skot Warren brings more than 35 years of live sound experience to 55 South. A graduate of SAE Institute of Technology in Nashville with a degree in Sound/Audio Engineering, he has been the band's Front of House engineer since 2022. An accomplished guitarist and drummer, Skot combines technical expertise with a musician's ear to deliver a polished, powerful mix at every show.
Linsey Hunt
Lead Vocals & Guitar
An original member of 55 South, Linsey Hunt has been the heart and voice of the band since its formation in 2021. A native of Andalusia, Alabama, she began singing at age 12 and performed her first live show at just 13. An accomplished lead vocalist and guitarist, Linsey brings heartfelt performances, powerful vocals, and an authentic stage presence to every show. Married to drummer Jeremy Hunt, she shares a passion for music both on and off the stage.
